XRAY - Model racing cars

Hello,

next to my past problems with my sensor -cable (see MT-4 tread). I play around with modified class racing.
5.5T without boost is LESS strongly as a 10.5T full boosted.

But the HW 2.1 or SP 2.0 ESC seems, that the rpm are rising to fast or something like that, because some times It works and some times not.
On last friday I got the same problem, that the ESC was flashing red and green- this mean sensoreless MODE. After some hint from some guy´s I set at first the motor timing to Zero degrees. -it works well and I was working on setup and breaking points on the ideal line.
yesterday I run my 5.5T a little bit more boost and turbo timing and it didn´t work. - I disconnect the sensor cable at the ESC and connect it again. --things are working fine. -At next lipo pack at first straight I recognized, that the boost is gone. - Sensor unit gone ?? - sad to say, but no possibility to test with other sensor unit.....

Do you have some suggestions to set the ESC setting, so I´m able to run constantly and every pack?

BTw. some modified racers run 4.5T SP motors without timing on motor -- it work´s constantly and have
boost timing 14
24 turbo timing
with small slope rate 12
starting rpm 8000
ACC about 450.

i run a SP 4.5 with my GT2.0 with the stock profile in and it is REALLY REALLY quick and straingly cooler than normal modified mode hahaha

what will your setting @ turbo timing, please, don´t tell your favarite own personally settings but some small hints

This is no secret. 24 is ok. On a long straight, maybe even more (depending on driving style and motortemperature).

In Apeldoorn we were using 30/30 with a 4.5T.

If it is under 80 degree you can increase your turbo timing. If it is over 85 you should decrease it.
