Bwah, XRAY gear diff arrived this morning :D XRAY gear diff assembled this afternoon 24mm*0.7 o-ring broke this afternoon. I have visited all the normal UK online shops this evening including RC Disco and they all show out of stock.
I saw that this ring also fits the Spec-R diff. Anyone know of a UK or European website that might have this in stock? (XRAY or Spec-R)

Hi Andrew,

Yes the NT1 part no. is what I have been searching for. In the short term I am OK as the retailer personally runs an NT1 and found a spare one in his pit box which he kindly mailed to me on Friday.

But you might want to point out to your XRAY colleagues...

A large number of gear diffs were sold in the UK last week.
The instructions infer that you might want to change the o-ring each time you take the diff apart (ie not mandatory but the ring is likely to stretch and it might be best to replace rather than refit)
As we experiment with different oils, these diffs will be dismantled.
There appear to be no stocks of the o-rings in the UK.

I have located a pack of 10 rings in the USA but the postage cost is twice the price of the o-rings and I am reluctant to order in case the o-rings suddenly become available in the UK and so in the interim the diff is likley to sit on the bench gathering dust!

These o-rings are also fitted to watch backs - have a look on e-bay for watch gaskets

[I fitted a 24x0.8 without problems ]

Thanks Pier, I checked and he has them in stock but again postage looks as if it will double the purchase price.

Thanks Charles, I have just checked and bought a bag of 750 0.7mm O-rings from Hong Kong which includes 15 24mm rings :D

Anyone want any o-rings <24mm> 8)
