Its a great option Part if you have too much oversteer/front grip.

I always liked it on carpet.

I ve never seen a 3'11 with a chassis brace...

It prevents the car from traction rolling on high traction surfaces such as carpet. It will also improve cornerspeed for those conditions as the car will stop less in corners and be more "free".
