The instructions do show to only fill the diffs to the pins, or halfway with fluid. I was told by an experienced racer to fill them all the way.

Which way is correct? I'm about to tear my diffs down for inspection and have no fluid ready to go next weekend.

Should I fill them all the way, or only half? Are there pros and cons for each way?

Thanks

The older manuals used to say to pins the recent ones suggest top off all gears

I have been doing top of gears and it has been fine

Some say too full and the oil may expand and blow the seals tbh I don't belive this but either way I find top of gears is a happy medium not too full not too empty
