XRAY - Model racing cars

I have no info on the exact range that might offered, more to the point right now I have no information confirming whether this will be the direction taken. But the issue is known and hopefully we will get information from Mario soon as to the XRay direction in this area.

"PRO level car" = How to get $20 more from the club racer.

"PRO level" excuse is getting old from the entire R/C industry.

Whatever the decision not to include the battery strap, I hope that at least XRay has plenty on supply because at the club level where "Normal" people race the "practicality" of having the brace out weighs any other issue. It does not matter if your a Pro or Club racer on weekend events that are not major affairs having a brace sure makes it easier to go out and have fun. Remember -- fun!

If the kit came with brace, nobody would have said "Oh my gosh, its got a brace -- must not be a Pro-level car -- not gonna buy it"

So, if not having a brace makes it a "Pro level" car, then what have I been racing with my T1FK? Its a rhetorical question but hopefully somebody gets my point.

Its an endless no win argument! Just seems if the majority of consumers are at the club level and will use a brace a majority of the time, "pro-level" or not, it should be included.

My fear is not the extra $20 (which I still oppose) but not being able to find the part.

as I am definitly fond of taping my batteries, especially when you charged to the time limit to be fully charged as close as possible for the race, my choise will be the ....

I dislike charging my cells when allready in my car. So i'am also in for the lazy one.

like i say top drivers do not represent the majority of racers at club level, where most of your money comes from
They are the best drivers in the world but you can fit them on your hand compared to club racers, so they are only the minority not the mojority

Oh by the way just e-mailed a couple of the company`s i deal with in the states, what they think of the (cheapskate idea) battery strap, they don`t think this is a good idea

Better idea!!! put the strap in the kit & let the racers decide how to put the batts in,cheaper to buy tape then strap

Oh & another thing this is a forum so don`t het upset with my questions ,just i don`t like the big guys sh@*#ing over the little guys, they are the ones that keep you in buisness
