Hi,

I've been running a gear diff (spec.r) 1000cst oil in the rear of my T3 2011 for ages now but tried my ball diff today and the car is so much better to drive through the corners and into them but it's all the maintance :x The gear diff is good when it holds oil  but the car pushes to much. Any suggestions ? also got a gear diff to try in the front.

Thanks.

I've only ever used 2000cst, and 50wt 100% silicone shock oil. Tried the 2000cst at Ardent Raceway last week after my ball diff went gritty and shoved like crazy. Went back to using the 50wt oil and the turn in was much better.

1000cst seems to work great for me.
Are you overfilling the diff with oil?

As Skiddins said you might want to use a little less oil or lighter oil inside the diff.

I serviced my Spec R diff and overfilled it once. It was plainly obvious what was wrong as the rear end locked up and was able to rotate the motor lol.
