So does anyone know, with all of the 2011 knowledge here :D , if the 2011 body will fit on a 2010? I may just pick up a 2010 to get back started and I may need another body.

Hi Guys!

Its nice to see the new 2011 version and I am excited about the change in the bevel gear design.
I do have a question and appreciate it if anyone would share their comments and experiences.

Currently I am running a XB808 2009 spec and am looking to change the entire front and rear gear boxes to the
2011 if that is even possible.

Would I be able to use the 2009 drive shaft and connect it with the 2011 coupling and bevel gear?
I understand that the overall length of the rear shaft would be shorter but would the CVD head still be the same
as the 2011?

Would the New 2011 Bulkheads be able to fit directly onto the 2009 chassis?

Please advise guys! Appreciate it!

i have i question to ask,both of you 808 2011 come with light weight outdrives or not,cause i know some people is with light weight outdrives,but mine 1 is standard,what happen,anyone can help thank

Can anyone tell me what size, in mm, the clutch springs are? All the info I can get is Hard, Medium, Soft with no guidance on mm.

I think it might be:

Hard: 1.1mm
Medium: 1mm
Soft: 0.9mm

Is that right?

I've already tried this, it is very good.
I have already finished two finals by 30 minutes without problems.
This cover should be placed on the cvd before mounting. When you have assembled all the cover does not move.

I have been using XT8 pins on my 808 center driveshafts and I think they last longer (I dont know why). Those have flat spot on middle and those are little to long, but I dremel them little shorter so they fit ok in 808.

I also test shock boots top of the joint, but didnt see any different in wear with standard pins.
