XRAY - Model racing cars

SCAR Records were broken by Lou Vanderwey's CRC GenX10 last Wednesday night. I'll make an attempt on these records this coming Wednesday Night.

It's a sad day in Xray SCAR land. Elliot has decided to switch brands. He will no longer be driving the X10 in SCAR. He was not a sponsored Xray driver but rest assured Xray has lost the best promoter RC has ever seen, in my opinion. I was the first in SCAR to drive an Xray against a full field of CRC's. It wasn't until Elliot bought the Xray that anybody else even considered buying one.

We'll miss you on the Xray side of SCAR but we're glad you have created the best class in RC, SCAR Now to get to the track so I can finally beat you

SCAR hits the track this Saturday at the 9th Annual Karl Mackie Memorial Race Against Cancer. There will be SCAR/WGT 17.5 Circuit & Oval classes as well as other popular classes. I'll post results after the race.

Great day of racing, unfortunately a lot of SCAR drivers were having esc issues. Because of this issue a few didn't finish or even started the race. I had the issue in Oval but was able to finish all races and ended up 2nd in SCAR Oval points.

Today was the second leg of the SOS series. In SCAR I qualified my X10 link 8th in the SCAR A-main and finished 5th. In SCAR Oval I took my Custom X10 T-bar to a second place finish in the A-main after qualifying 3rd. It was a great day of racing.

Seems I was the only one running SCAR specs at the 3rd leg of the SOS series. Everybody else has switched to 17.5 single cell. Either way my custom oval chassis is getting better as I learn more about oval setup.

Track is setup for this weekends Canadian Onroad Nationals. SCAR is a class and it's going to be fun

I finished 4th after qualifying 5th at the Canadian Onroad Nationals over the weekend. It was a great weekend of racing. The race to the drivers stand to get a good spot was almost more intense then the racing it self

I was very happy with my finishing spot considering I had electronic issues throughout the main. My car would just loose power and I would be head on into the boards. It seemed to stop near the end of the race but will need a good examination to find out what the issue may be.

This was also the last race of the SCAR Circuit Triple Crown. Points should be up soon and I will update those asap.

Been awhile since my last update. SCAR hit's the track this Saturday at Lou's Speedway for the annual John Posthumus Memorial Race. Race fees and donations going to Hospital For sick kids. Stay tuned for the results.
