its sounds very much like this! just not as much when rolling it back and forth slowly but when i push quickly its sound pretty bad? the mesh is well asjusted so what is it??

A tamiya so not sure if your on right forum but that is gear mesh on engine or no grease in gearbox between pinion & diffs.

The car is designed so the engine runs at a slight angle. You can twist the engine so its almost straight which is what I do as it extends the life of the clutch bearings.
The noise you have on the video clip is fine & a usual noise on an exsposed metel on metal gear, although for me maybe a little loose.

How I mesh the engine.
1. the m4 engine screw that is closest to the rear & reciever box I push this hard against the reciever box area & tighten. This will put the engine in a position to be as straight as possible. It does not touch the box but puts the engine as far across the slot as possible.
2. you will probably find now the mesh is real tight, for this I will use a screw driver & lever the engine across between the flywheel & cut out underneath. This method you will have more control of a fine adjustment as the engine will be held quite tight.
3. as you move across check you get a very small amount of play between the clutch & spur, then tighten one front srew. Now spin over to check mesh is the same on a complete turn or has any tight spots. Mesh can easily be done by feel although some use paper as a guide.
4. Tighten remaining 2 screw & then check all 4 are tight.
5. now a quick spin over to check all has settled right & you are good to go.
