XRAY - Model racing cars

Its a roling chassi and when i spin the wheels (same direction) the centre dicc makes a noise, it sound like it rubbing off plastic kind off? is this normal?

Take the top half of the center diff mount off and spin it then.

It may be the breaks catching and making noise.

sounds daft but makes a big difference so when you spin it over is the car placed on a stand or on a table edge & resting at an angle.
you can often find when at an angle the brake disks bind to cause this problem or noise in std form.
Is the engine attached and a tight mesh or clutch bearings blown ?.
could also be blown bearings on the centre diff or the four securing screws holding down the top plate to tight.
gives you several areas to look at.

You're going to have to take it apart until you can get to the bearing to spin it. You need to see if it spins freely or not. If not then replace it.
