Hello,

I was searching through the setup sheets online, trying to find one which resembles my local track. I can see most of them are for more open tracks and I would like to ask which tracks resemble the following conditions (since the search feature online doesnt work).

Track Size: Tight
Track Traction: Medium
Track Surface: Medium to Bumpy
Track Type: Mostly hard packed with a few sections of loose dirt
Track Condition: Dry/Dusty

I still cannot find a setup sheet from which to start off.

Thanks

Which car?

When it come to peoples opinion of tight , smooth rough we all will view it slightly different.
once you have a base setup it will very rarely change between high grip or dusty & so it will be just slight tweaks to the conditions or what you face..
For me this is my 808 base xform/index.php?act=view&ID=1357&setup=xb808
its then just tires or a heavier roll bar for desired effect.

Xb808 2010. I am very sure that when I say tight track I am it is far more technical than most of the famous tracks I have seen. More technical than Guarda and Sidewinder. No where near the straight lines these tracks have, with only just one straight line.

Generally that setup will work, if you need more turn in then use a 41t front gear as this will really hook it in & around the turns.

Do you think that shortening the wheelbase by placing the rear shims at the back of the A-arm would help handling in a tight track?

Not always as it locks in rear end & creates rear grip, you would think a short car has a smaller turning circle but on the track does not actually help.
