it is clear the gear diff need no more servicing.
but the fastest xray cars on the euro use normal diff gear.
and the advantage of ball diff is that it is much lighter than gear diff and easy to adjust.
but in modified i don't think that weight is such important

Yes, you can use alu c-hubs with ECS driveshafts however be sure that you have the new V2 alu c-hubs as the old ones will not fit.

Yes, part number is same. On the label must be written ALU C-HUB FRONT BLOCK, RIGHT - 4° DEG. - V2, XRAY offers only 4° DEG and 6° DEG alu c-hubs in V2 version, part numbers are #302337, #302338, #302339 and #302340.

Will the T3 2011 have the holes for the optional alu brace that fits on the old T3 just behind the front bulkheads?
