XRAY - Model racing cars

I bought a 008 second hand, and it came with tamiya shocks.

I then decided to get some plastic shocks and thought I got a bargain of 'Flea bay'

Much to my annoyance I bought some 007 shocks that are longer, so I bought some 008 bodies.

better still I realised that the 008 has shorter shafts as well

I want to know the length of the 007 vs 008 shaft. if it is minimal I might just cut the 007 shafts down

if not I'll buy the shafts - may as well have just bought a new set
