XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi Mario, well I sent an email to the address you gave and I got the reply I was expecting, the chassis is no longer stocked or available. Is the replacement six cell chassis and the rear bulkheads only with the notches for the battery packs still available.

I may check out if some other distributors do not have this chassis in stock.

Well I must say I am disgusted as I have just gone and looked on the available spares for the origional T1 chassis. I can get the 6 cell bottom chassis but I CANNOT get the rear bulkheads with the notched filed out. I know that I can go and it myself but why should I have to? The only bulkheads avaiable are the complete set of 4 alloy ones of which the front pair WILL NOT fit the pivot ball suspension! So it'll cost me nearly HALF the cost of a new T1FK kit just to replace the bottom chassis and therefore I would assume my car has been written of after just over 2 years! I am all up for evolution etc but take a look at the rest of the model industry and see how long they support products for because I bet it's longer as when I spend £275 on a car I didn't expect it to be written off in such a short space of time. It will cost me around £132.98 plus postage to replace my bottom chassis.

Would the EVO2 bulkheads not work on a T1?

If so, they should be pretty easy to find ...

I am not disputing the fact I can't get them second hand, I just think you should be able to buy them from Xray.

Well if you have any luck Mario finding a chassis then please let me know. How long do Xray plan on supporting the T1FK for?

The evo chassis should fit too....it sounds like you just dont want to be satisfied, most would be happy that as you repair your car, you can up grade it with xrays evolution style of new cars.......
