Hey guys!

Would be gratefull if someone could tell me the Part No. for the Pin that is in the actuall Tool.
Its the one on the plunger piece of the removal tool that shattered on first usage!
I think ill try a vice to squeeze it instead of a hammer.

Hi Nick,
if you want to compress it with the vise you better have an industrial one with a few tons of pressure.

When using the drive pin tool it all depends on the surface you use it on. On concrete it bounces, on wood it depresses. The best way to use it is actually to put it ontop of the vise (fixed to a workbench) or a similar large metal underplate of some sort. Like this it just takes a few hammer strokes. I do all 6 pins whenever I have the car apart and it only takes a few minutes.

Ask Barkley to show you the pin removal tool he made next weekend when you are up for the national round.

bring them to national rd out of the car and ill do them sat morning if your up early enough . thats why i push rather than hammer .. that little pin broke my heart and the steel used is really hard to drill it out when it jams up in it .i had to bore a hole all the way down it .





and holes drilled the right size so the pin dont break,and then pushes down to correct dept

Cheers Barkley! Im not in a hurry this weekend what i had to do the last time was order in 2 new centre drive shafts! I will have a go a making the same tool you have at home, dad has a welder so thatll be a winter project for me to do.
Ah I see youve modified the tool with a Hex Bolt and Hand grip v nice!
All you need now is to anodize it!
