XRAY - Model racing cars

For me now would be the last minute to give some info about E808 release. I will buy 808 2010 spec + conversion parts on friday if there is'n any info available. I have had enough with waiting, there is nice sunny weather outside!

808E, when? If its not too far off I will wait for it rather than do a MBX6 conversion. Please let us know.....May, June, July?

I am looking for a body that could be used with 5S 4200 mah, I have the monster battery box.
I tried the Proline Crowd Pleaser 2.0 but it rubs at the front of the battery pack.

Any suggestion ?

The first shipments should be leaving XRAY now. RC America's next shipment will contain the kits, so I would expect they will hit shelves in the US before the end of August. Our normal transit times are 10-14 days from when it leaves XRAY's warehouse to our door. I haven't seen the invoice yet, but I would expect parts on the same shipment.

I am not sure how tall the 5s pack is as I have only run 4s 5000 packs. I use velco on the body mounts so my stock 808 body is spaced up just a hair from normal height, and I am ok even with my battery as far forward as possible. I have not seen the 808e body in person yet, but each side has some added clearance height from the two new 'scoops' that run between the canopy and side pods of the standard nitro body. Hopefully that will give you some more room for your 5s pack.

I struggled with my New 808 e from day 1 I don't know why it's so hard to setup but, just to see how it compared to my 2010 converted 808 and hands down Much faster everything I tried to get my 808e to do my old 2010 does ,much easier to drive,more traction,well balanced .. i dont know why the Factory E car is a hand full ..

I sold my 808e and went back to my converted 2010 808. I found similar. My converted 808 was better and more consistent for me. Not sure exactly why but it just seems to respond better to tuning changes than my 808e did.
