XRAY - Model racing cars

Do any of the team drivers use different o rings or bladders in there shocks, like the much more ones ?? I want to rebuild my shocks and im just wandering what every one uses

In the ALU shocks I use the bladders of a well known brand which the World Champion TC 1/10 also uses

Would I be right in saying you mean much more bladders ?? what about the o rings ??

Hi Guys, i am new to this hobby and trying to build my new Xray Alu shock for 0 rebound like Jilles rc tips video on youtube. Tried that, but it's hard to get the bladder into the shock body. I notice Tamiya bladder is shorter than what xray made. But once i manage to get the bladder in, and screw or tighten the upper cap, still got some rebound which i assume is 25% rebound.

Then i go download xray Alu shock manual. Xray use a different way to do rebound. In the manual it tell us to fill the oil, remove bubble etc, then screw or tighten the upper cap. Next step is to unscrew the lower cap for rebound and let the oil bleed thru the shaft. It stated, 20 times for 25% rebound, but does anyone have a clue how to get 0 rebound? 30 times? Some guy did suggest to drill a hole on the upper cap. Should i use that method? Thanks in advance.

Homer if u push the shock shaft up the body 1/2 way before putting on the bladder and end cap u will get much less rebound. Drilling the end cap and not using foam is also important to building dead shocks.
