are you sure a 4s 6000 will fit in your buggy? i have 5s 3700 and the lid just touches the battery

my 5S 6000 fit, but the body is lifted up some, so 4S 6000 may lift the body some as well

You can easily lift the body up by shimming the front body post.

Anyone knows what the max battery height that will fit under the xray 808, 2009 spec body without major modifications (I guess you might raise the body-posts to some extent)? I am waiting for the car now and will be using a Losi 8ight 2.0 battery tray.

I am planing to run some Zippy-H 5-cell battery's that are about 45mm (1,80") high

If there is no way to fit this battery with the original body, please give me a hint of a good replacement body that has some more clearance (jconcepts etc).

I went to the JConcepts body and it fits great. I run a 6S 3300mah Hyperion.

Check out the new Hyperion packs. They have new 25C and 35C packs that can be charged at 5C.

I will have a look at the Jconceps body.
What about the Proline Crowd Pleazer 2.0 Body for X-Ray XB808? Any thoughts about this one regarding clearance?

I have already looked at the new Hyperion packs and if the ones i have now (2x 5s Zippy-H 4000mAh and 2x 5s FlightPower 25C 5000mAh) doesn't perform well or doesn't fit, they are high on my wish-list!

I think converting the 808 into an electric with not easy. You've doing a great job on it.

losi tray after belt sanding is lower than rc monster as I have both..
the new losi E JC body works very well.. I run 5s 5000 with zero clearance problems.. word is the xray 808 E will be out sometime next month

I'm needing a new body for my 808E (rc monster conversion). What bodies fit well running 2x 2S batteries? If I buy a prepainted/trimmed one will the cutouts for the nitro motor and such be a problem?
