Hey gp i wonder if this guy has ever painted usein gthe same techniuqe i have sevral time and as an artist and auto motive painter i can appreciate and understand what it is that you are doing when layering the paint, so don't be upset i'm sure it super xray just isn't familar with the techniuqe. and please do post pics!!!

Yes it does. Contrary to what some believe our cars do travel fast enough to notice earodynamic effects. This is most noticeable when you switch between an easy to drive body such as the Protoform Stratus 1 and an aggressive body such as the Protoform Mazda 6. With the same setup and on the same track these bodies handle very differently.

Given that it should be obvious that moving the body 4mm farther forward will change the handling too. The front of the body generates downforce giving aerodynamic grip at the front while the rear end of the body does the same at the rear. If you move the body further forward more downforce will be provided at the front and less at the rear resulting in more aerodynamic grip at the front and less at the rear.

Similarly moving the wing forward or backward has a direct effect on handling as well. This is why most manufacturors have three and sometimes even four indentations in the wing for different mounting positions!

Tony means that the mazda has an aggresive handling characteristics like i have found that it has alot of turn in and can cause the back end to spin out basicaly less smooth

Right. Simply put the Mazda has more downforce at the front relative to the rear causing the car to turn in more aggressively. If you were low on grip at the rear with the Stratus 1 you will definitely be oversteering with the Mazda 6.

Have never run the Nemesis so I'll leave this question to someone who knows the Nemesis first hand.
