I just used the Hudy break-in stand. It's documentation says to run several tanks (125CC) at 25% for 10 min each period with complete cool down between sessions, the go to 50% for several tanks then 70% for several. During all of this time run slightly rich, and keep engine between 200-250 degrees. With the fan attached to the main shaft I never went over 200, and when I got to 50% I was in the 160 range.
I'm not sure what you meant by fully engaged clutch? Are you running the car on the ground or on a stand?
From what you said, much more fuel is used by the grinder, who broke in my RB 9T
