What have you broken so far?

I don't know where ya'll are running and what you're doing to the car, but I raced 1/8th off road for the first time last weekend and after running a gallon of fuel through the car (yes one gallon in one weekend) all I broke was a C-Hub and steering block which was kind of freak because I was only ~10 ft. in the air and came down perfectly on one of the spikes that was sticking out from the pipes on the track...
In short, I sent the car cart wheeling, flipping and over jumping jumps more times than I was comfortable with and not one problem with shocks, arms, front braces, NOTHING (except the aforementioned freak C-Hub and Steering Block deal). This car is SOLID.

JUST PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR GEAR MESH and everything is all right.
I know its weird, but make it a little loose....

they are used for scraping the mud out frome the wheels to help keep them balanced. some places they get real muddy and it will wabble when this mud is caked on the rim. right you guys in the UK-mates

i have been breaking them too. ill try the kyosho ones also. i cant believe how easy they broke? they snapped like butter??? i didnt wreck or slam into anything that i would see these breaking? they definately need to look into this! other than that the car is hooked up. i placed 2nd in the A main and slim got 1st. i did what you said DAVID to get more steering and it worked. it was so sweeeet going around the track. i loved the way the car went in the turns and left them. the A main i had a clutch prob or something ? ill check it out today and see -i lost my bottom punch and couldnt clear the jumps but at high end it still ripped? so ill see...

It isn't exactly spoken very clearly about how the upper arms should be positioned in relation to the kickup. So I would like to clear this up for everyone. Justin Mann and I debated over which setting was correct and I believe he won so here is the data that should give the least amount of bind to the upper arm through the compression stroke, I have found this to help keep everything functioning normally and the life of the turnbuckle is extended.

Kickup: Front Upper | Rear Upper
1down: 1up | .5up
1down: .5up | 0
1down: 0 | .5down
1down: .5down | 1down

So this is just an example, here are the rule of thumbs. Justin Mann and I built this up on the premise that 0 kickup placed the lower and upper hingepins were parallel using all 0 bushings. We also did testing on which caused the arms to be the most free (this is what we debated on, thanks Justin)

KICKUP | RULE FOR FRONT UPPER BUSHING POSITIONS
1up (-3.0) | front bushing should be .5 lower than rear
.5up (-3.5) | front bushing should be .5 lower than rear or same
0 (-4) | front bushing should be same as rear
.5down (-4.5) | front bushing should be .5 higher then rear or same
1down (-5) | front bushing should be .5 higher then rear
