had couple of hard crashes & broke left steering block first & then crashed & broke the right steering block. the steering block seems weak but i rather break them than the chassis. i have yet used the updated arm holder.

at times when I drive with my head not screwed on I drive by touch lol. I don't even REMEMBER the last time I broke a part on an xray. I think the cross pin for the cvd's. But that was being lazy and not thread locking it after taking it apart mid day. C hubs 0 breakage.

I finally raced my T3 at the 2010 SummerNats at Wollongong on the weekend. Due to circumstances out side my control I was not able to practice and post build testing was limited to a bench test.

From the outset the car was consistent and reliable responding to setup changes as the day went on. The car itself seemed very consistent, even after a rain storm hit and we were forced to wait for the track to dry.

The only problem I had was keeping the front CVD's together as the pins kept sliding out, possibly due to the use of old thread loc

All up another great car from XRAY.

Dear Xray

Apologies if this question has been asked already:

I wonder if the front and rear belts of the T3 will fit the T2 009 which has been converted to a 1.9 drive ratio? I ask this since our local hobby shop has stocked mostly T3 parts already.

I checked the cross reference parts list but it doesn't seem to give me a clear answer.

Thanks in advance.

I just bought a T3 EU( finally, relieved..) and I want to know if its a requirement that lower bulkhead screws need to be threadlocked? its not stated in the manual, but Ive threadlocked it anyways, although I do believe that allen key screws do hold much better than philip screws. Ive seen in my local tracks guys losing bulkhead screws, but I believe that its just because that the screws are not tightened enough. What are your views on this? Its also my mistake of not checking the effect of thread locked and non-thread locked screws effect on chassis stiffness.
