I have just been having a look over the instruction manual. Can anyone tell me, what is the distance between the LiPo pack and the pinion, spur and main belt? Hav you experenced any problems like the '008 where the belt actually rubbed up against the batteries (NiMh at that stage I think)?

One more question.
In the manual, it says to use the upper position for the diffs on high grip and carpet tracks. It then points out that this is the initial position for the EU rubber spec. Should this not be the other way around and explain that the upper position (carpet) is for large open ashfelt tracks?

Hello guys,

I fly planes since 1983. In 1992, I discoverd the Heli world. Later on started flying 3D, inverted autos and 3d planes, as well.

All this period, I was hating cars. I thought that cars was a part of the RC Hobby that was not interesting, very easy and silly as well.

Recently, I saw some drifting videos in Youtube and I had been so much impressed that I have started reading everything related to RC Drifting.

I have read so many articles, forums, chassis reviews, setup and car theory that lead me to be impressed more and more. Eventually, I like very much the technical aspect of this hobby, and I have to admit that there is something giving me the feeling that cars should be the most difficult part of the RC Hobby. From what I've read up to now, it seems to me that it should be by far more difficult to setup correctly a Heli for 3D than setting up, test and tune a Car for a Race (I assess - I quess - I think - I strongly beleive)

So, I decided that I am obliged to start this Hobby and I will quit Planes and Helis.

Cosequently, I have read so much about T3 new chassis that I am almost ready to buy it, in order to setup it as a my 1st Drift Chassis.

Do you agree with the T3 choice as a Drift chassis?

Will you recommend me any good brushless esc servo drift setup for this. I'd prefered to use it with Lipos.

I will use it on asphalt and indoor as well.

Which EU version to order, the rubber or the foam tires one?

Money is not a problem. I am gonna sell or trade my Vibe90 3d :-)

I got my T3 yesterday and I m very happy with it.
When are you going to add the T3 to the Online Set up Sheets so that one can create Online Setup Sheets for the T3.

I'm still waiting for the X10 setup sheet but I'm sure the T3 will be done much sooner :roll:
