XRAY - Model racing cars

I see that the T1FK05 is now listed on the current price list but with ~ a $75.- price inscrease over the older model, does this mean that it will come with the hop-ups missing on the origianl FK such as the thick chassis, spring steel axles, sway bars, and such?

Please tell me we are not looking at spending about $400 on the new car and then another $300 on required hop-ups.

He is looking at the 2005 Dealer price list that was sent out from RCA this past week.

It lists the new car(s) for 2005

XB8R and FK05

The details of the new FK 05 have not been released, so no way of knowing what it will come with.

It looks like we have the FK05 narrowed down to three potential cars

A) The wanna-be 415 (Euro Edition)
B) The saddle car with the new bulkheads & top deck (Carpet Edition)

The car with the new bulkheads/top deck appears to have the motor moved forward a bit to bring some weight to the front. Maybe the layshaft is lowered a bit




Or....XRay just wanted to release a more hopped up version of the FK (XRC Chassis, Diff or One-Way, Sway Bars...etc) The latter seems like a more logical route seeing how XRay's been building a solid reputation upon their T1

I see that every team driver is saying if a new car is out it will be stated in a news article. I am going to buy an FK soon, is this fk05 a revised edition that will be out soon. No one has stocks of the fk that i have spoken too and seems some US customers are posting similar likes (recently)

I don't think you have much of a choice. Most dealers are out of stock on the FK, you'll probably have to wait for the 05.

And of course team drivers will tell you that there is no new car released before the announcement are made by Xray...

I have to be careful what i say, but i just don't want to buy a car that is superseeded by so soon, does anyone have an evo2 to compare, i believe it was less of a jump than from t1 <-> evo2 (c-hub).

Any opinions, considering i still have the first car ?
