XRAY - Model racing cars

We talked to RC America yesterday,,, they said nothing about a price increase,,,

Well.... as I stated before....my reliable source turned correct.

My currect supplier will NOT purchase another XB8 buggy.....unless I pay $100 more than I was paying before.

This is due to RC America charging him $100 more.

All I know....is if you can get an XB8 cheap..... than do it now.

To me.....this is not a rumor anymore.....since my supplier is going to charge me an extra $100.

Wish I know what the Sprot (other) version will entail.

Let's lay out a few things here, first of all RC Mushroom prices were out of control, they were almost dumping the product. Compare their prices to prices elsewhere on the net now, they are in the key with what the prices that are allowed to be at, which is set by Xray. RC Mushroom was not following those guidelines, it was great for racers bad for other businesses.

Second, the price on the parts has increased due to the change in the value of the Euro and the USD.

RCAmerica just got a huge shipment and backorders are being filled and orders being taken.

I deleted my earlier response because I didn't know the price increase took place already.

I understand where Mario and David are coming from...... they only know the information told to them.

But why would XRAY keep this info from thier Team?

This discourages me.

If XRAY didn't want the price increase to leak...... they should have told thier TEAM members..... and made them sign a confidential form or something.

Then Mario or David..... could have posted nothing on this topic or...... at least stated "No Comment"

But instead....... XRAY must have not told thier TEAM members..... therefore letting Mario & David make incorrect statememts....... Trying to save XRAY's face.

I commend Mario & David...... but the rumor was true...... and it's not thier fault XRAY would not share this information with them.

Hmmmmm? I reallly like XRAY a lot....... now getting a bad feeling.

As we all know its a business, and when one persons price increases--we can expect it to come on down to the consumer...
