Hey Cornish,

Ive got the stock pads at the moment so I dont know either.
But give Ryan a shout at the Shop (JESpares) hes running an 808 this year but Im not sure if hes changed the brakes himself or got any feedback on them.

Regards
Nick

wow, that je spares site give some bad advice!

It says that if you buy the graphite brake disks, just turn your break pads around so the steel side faces the disk.

You actually need to buy the hardened steel break pads, they look like they are nickle plated. I've seen too man people bend the old break pads, and complain that their breaks were worse than before. come to find out they bent the break pads!

So, if you buy the graphite break disks part # 354111, then also buy the hardened steel pads part # 354121

I like the graphite XRAY pads because they don't just hit like a ton of bricks when you grab the brakes, you can modulate them a lot better.

When your stock setup wears out (which will take a while!) replace the discs with the 354111 and the pads with the 354121 WITHOUT the ferrodo pads.

I dont think gluing the ID would be a good idea. One of my rotors was a tight fit for 3-4 tanks till it broke in on the out drive, dont think I could have gotten it on if glued & dont think the glue would hold up to abuse from out drive. As far as OD I didnt even think of it but now that I do I wonder if it would cause a binding spot for pads as rotor wears.

I personally didn't CA the edges of my disks. I only seal carbon fiber that can recieve a direct hit, and possibly causing it to split. the break disks are protected. the only stress they recieve is compression, which would force it together, rather than force it appart.
Plus like mentioned before, it won't be as consistent with lumpy glued edges.
