XRAY - Model racing cars

so i did a trade over the internet for what i was told was a t2,
but quikly realized that this is a t1 fk05

im a easy guy, and am not going to make noise or give the guy a hard time, could be a honest mistake.

anyways my question is aside from the chassi , bulk head type stuff.
are the majority of the parts from a t1 compatible with a t2?



and if two drivers were of matched skill, is the t1 pretty much still as competitive as the t2?


i kinda feel like even if it was a t2 for some one as new as me i wouldnt even notice the difference.

Getting parts for the FK05 might be more of an issue now than anything else.

I've had an FK05 and T2 and now T2R Pro, and my opinion is that the T2 is a quite different car with very few similar parts to the FK05 and in my view the T2 is faster and a better/easier car to work on.
