It does work ok but the JP4 will have better performance , the 3016 was designed for new noise regulation but you also you get a reduction in power as a consequence. Without writing reams for an explantaion EFRA this year changed there minds on pipes & you can now use older pipes meaning 2007 spec pipes are better.

V-Spec and V-Spec Speed work best with OS pipes T-2060 (EFRA) and T-2050 (no EFRA approval). These combinations are 2x World Champs from 2006 & 2008 and are always said to work well with good fuel economy.

If you don't need EFRA pipe, then get the copy of those pipes: L*si RE-10 or RE-11. They should be 100% copy of the OS pipes but half the price.
