 Post subject: 808 carbon brake disk

At my last race meet there was 4 xray 808 in attendance and we all had the carbon fibre (xray original) brake disks with the steel pads(xray original) and every one of us had brake fade to the point that after 5 mins they didnt work at all.

Could someone let me know if this was common or not as i went back to the steel disk and ferodo pad setup and i had brakes again..

Were all 4 of you using the stock steel pads? You have to use the option hardened steel ones with the graphite brake discs.

You really need to get the harden pads the stock ones will bend on you.
