I've been using the carbon brake disks on the 808 for a while now on an open track which doesn't require much braking with no problems at all.I set the gap as stated on the manual.
On our new track which is a tight track and requires a lot of braking it seems that after 2-3 fuel tanks the disks get tooo hot and "swell"(i'm not sure) but they do bind and the gap seems a lot smaller than the one i started with.
Is there a solution:
-bigger gap(the reason i used these disks was to minimize the linkage travel to minimum)
-some use ofna springs(will this work)
-go back to ferodo pads(rather not)
