#305590 Alu Middle One-Way Pulley

Please check the where you can find how you should assembly it.

Please note that the #962040 shim is the same as the one included in the #305590 Alu Middle One-Way Pulley - the shim is 4x8x0.1mm.

Brano, check the two different (!) instructions Pat references. The shim is in different positions in both. Not having used the one-way pulley myself I cannot say which version of the instruction is the correct one and that is exactly what Pat needs to know...

Here are a few tips...

* Make sure the one-way pulley has a little tiny bit of sideplay when you tighten the solid pulley's set screw
* Put a drop of bearing oil down each side of the one-way pulley after every 1 or 2 runs
* After each race day, take the pulley completely apart, clean it out well with motor spray, let it dry fully, and re-lube it with XRAY one-way lube

You'll find that the one-way pulley will loosen up a lot over time if you keep cleaning/re-oiling it frequently. :wink:

There is no middle one-way for the 008 or 009. But to be honest there is no need really since people are running a spool or front diff for most conditions these days around the world. BUT perhaps for a stock class it could be used in combination with a front one-way. But the advantage in handling is minimal.

Hi

Im quite new to the forum and I Drift EP cars. Im planning to purchase either the T2'009 EU or the T2R PRO as my project for the ultimate handling EP Drift car. I just wanna ask whether the P/N 305597 middle/central One Way (only the pulley closest to the spur in the manual) would fit into T2'009's central pulley holder P/N 305521-O, in other words replacing pulley P/N 305577? I ask this because that from my limited experience, in Drifting a Front One Way or a loose Front Ball Diffs on its own are not enough to turn in very tight hairpins. Ive experimented mixing different front, central and rear axle types and with my current chassis Ive used Front Diffs, Central One Way Shafts, and Solid Rears. Thanks for your time, and Im sorry if Im poking my nose at the wrong place :roll:

its that this is the only place where central one ways are being discussed actively lately.. thanks again
