Hyperion is one of the best chargers on the market if you ask me. Built in balancer(s) work great. I have a 610i DUO and I use it for everything from 4S Lipos to transmitter and receiver batteries to single cell NiMh and it never fails. Worth every penny!!

The Hyperion is pretty much the gold standard right now as far as function,reliable, available everywhere & is a lot for the money.As far as internal balancers go,I'm not sure where you heard their no good but at least the Hyperion is very good.Maybe some cheapy brand had problems whith theirs but none of the more reputable,common brands I have seen used have any problems.I under stand that you dont always get high quality just because something costs more,but I think its common sense that you dont charge a $300 lipo on a $40 charger with some balancer rigged in between. I have a duo & can charge a lipo at 6 amps & a reciver pack at 0.5 amps at the same time & set all the paramiters for either & monitor data on both. With the power supply I have I can velcro the duo on top of it & keep both in a padded transmitter transport bag with no overheating problems while charging 2 lipos at 5 amps each.Thats what paying a little more will get you. Keep in mind a GOOD power supply is key to a happy charging life.
