XRAY - Model racing cars

For you guys who are saying you have "reliable sources", who are they?

Well I would think running changes would be reason enough for someone to think "new car" but the changes are things that will be available seperately as well and may increase the value of the car if included. The tools not being included I can't forsee though.
The car right out of the box currently really needs nothing but like a few suggestions have asked there could be some thing changed during the run of production.
The price going up could be a result of currencies or just like the Revo price when it went up. Sometimes the price just goes up. Still a great value.

If my sources are correct.... an email and info will be sent to LHS.... explaining the price increase....very very soon.

Maybe it is because of the exchange?

All I know is that my suppliers are thinking of not carrying the XB8 because of the TBA price increase.

New buggy......??? Do not know much detail ..... but like Mario stated.... probably not new.... but new kit. Kit could have differnt options or something. Who knows?

I think by Monday morning..... all should be public.

I hate rumors..... Ohhhh well.... we will know soon enough.

The bottom line is that Xray want and need to sell the xb8, therefore they have to stay at a price point that is competetive in the market place or they simply wont sell, regardless of how great they are. Whatever they do they still have to stay competetive on price. I just hope that if and when they produce a new model they continue to support the previous model with spares etc. unlike Mugen who discontinued production of spares for the mbx 4xr as soon as the MBX5 went on sale.

Maybe I should not have said "New" but updated would have been better. You will always see running changes as thats for the better anyway and as long as we can get our hands on the parts, its all good

backfire - thanks, you said it instead of me. Just to put a notice - the feedback from different continents - US, Europe, Asia are way different and each of these markets look for some different option parts to accomodate to the very specific track conditions. The development is ongoing and never stops.
