New to XT8

Hello from snowy norway

just bought an XT8 for next season, awesome truck, need to know what if the Carbon shock towers are worth going for on this truck, and how important is it to change to alu chassis braces ?

I also wanna know what springs on the clutch is recommended for a bumpy track and what oils for shocks and diffs.

Used to run Losi truck, good to have a proper truggy now, my muggy had a lot of issues...

try 0.9mm or 1.0mm springs for the clutch.then 35wt oil in all the shocks.and 7-10-5 in the diffs.i would just stick with the ally shock towers.hope this helps you.

I ran with plastic chassis braces with no problems. But check their condition often. It may bend and twist and then you'll have to replace it. If you have a track with many rough jumps I'd consider rear alu brace to get the car stiffer for the sake of reliability. But then again guys have ran the rear brace so that its not even bolted to the rear shock tower to get even extra flex.
