XRAY - Model racing cars

I have heard Xray is upping there cost to dealers 100.00? And then I find this little blurp: How true is this.....

Increase in price is due the fact they are releasing an updated XB8.
The factory is no longer producing the kits you have now (thats why
there is a world shortage of kits atleast in AP region of the world)
Like they did with the onroad cars, they release the kit with full
options, tools, battery etc etc for promotional sales....
Xray will have 2 versions of the kit soon:
1 cheaper version doesnt have all the optional etc etc
2 pro version which will be better than the current kit probably with
new updated parts.

This is what I've been told by the importer for AP (Asia Pacific)region
of the world who is in the know.

Maybe some how part prices won't raise...... but my eBay prices will have to......... this is a guarentee.

Actually my suppliers are thinking of not even carrying the XB8 anymore..... not for $100 more.

I think we should trust mario,... his marketing people aren't going to steer him down a hole. Usually rumors like this at best are only partially correct. I'm sure if it were to happen you would get your money's worth with extras in a new model, anything less would be suicide for a small starting [nitro] company.

Similarly,.. people ask Rody of RB on his site if this is or that is coming out, he has to keep his mouth shut or he won't be able to sell the previous models. He had that situation with the MT line of TM's. As long as he supports the previous model you have nothing to worry about.

If a manufacturer does come out with new model we can only hope they are true to the customer and make the new model backwards compatible, a lot of regular guys won last year with the MBX4.

Guys its is NOT a new model!!!!
but updated...by this I mean POSSIBLY new stronger less brittle spur gear, new engine mounts, front hub for more front droop etc etc....
It it NOT a NEW model...still an XB8 Buggy.

Also I've been told no more tools included in the kits.

To make sure somebody does not missunderstands what I say. The current version of XB8 will remain as it is with the same specs and all the hop-ups included. Simply the XB8 you could buy last year with product number #35 0000 will remain exactly same this year. There may be runing updates and upgrades to same parts. Any new option parts will be available separately. That's it.
