XRAY - Model racing cars

The AKA Revolvers look good, they hit the shops last week. I think the new top performer will probably be the AKA GridIrion (soft compound), they hit the shops last week also. The first night I ran them I lapped the expert A-main field. They look like Holeshots but have a tad more side bite and overall traction. They should be good for up to a 35 minute main. After that, the other big pin tires from AKA would be a better choice.

It was a team Losi battle again,.... but I got my one lone 808 up top again, and trust me they tried to stop me! I'm really liking the new AKA GridIrons, however you do have to break them in for about 5 minutes before they get really good. Run them in the last qualifier before your main and they will be absolutely hooked for about 25-35 minutes. The soft compound is working best for me.
Next, I'm headed out to Thunder Alley for the big Sidewinder race were the US National race was held. I'll let you know how they work out at that track. I'm also taking Bowties with me just in case. All the top West Coast drivers will be at this race, so I'm going to try to get video too. Pro class will be stacked!!!!
