XRAY - Model racing cars

OK Guys, I am just throwing this out there cuz my outdoor season is quickly drawing to a close and I will be running my buggy for the winter at an indoor track that is much different than my regular outdoor tracks and I'm looking for some setup advice.

The outdoor tracks I normally run are long and fast with medium to loose traction depending on the day, bumpy and rutted surfaces most of the time and very large jumps. I am currently running Rocco's setup with a few "tweaks" to dial it in to my liking, like running the blue-grey springs up front and slightly heavier shock oils all around (just slightly) because the outtdoor tracks have some really large jumps and the heavier oils help with getting a more planted feeling on landings and 1000 oil in the rear dif to help with the lower traction conditions

That said, the indoor track is a VERY high traction clay surface that is very smooth with almost no rutting or bumps. The track itself is still decent size (125ft straight) but much shorter, tigheter and more technical than the outdoor tracks. Lots of short bursts from corner to corner and smaller more technical rhythm style jumps and such. I have run my 808 on this indoor track a couple times this year on weekends where rain prevented the outdoor meetings and to the 808s credit it still was pretty good by making only minor changes like dropping the ride height and lowering the rear roll center to prevent traction rolling in the corners.

Just wondering if there is anyone out there that runs a technical, smooth, very high traction track that can give me some setup pointers to get me closer to an ideal setup. I admittedly am not a great setup guy and know only enought to really screw myself up most of the time. I use the awesome Xray setup guide that is included with the kit as my setup bible, but most of the time dont really know if the changes I make are the correct ones or if I would have gotten better results from changing something else. Also... Anyone know when the Active Dif is coming out for the 808? I LOVED it in my EC on this indoor track, it really made a giant difference on how agressive the buggy would let me be comming out of the corners. Of all of the tuning I did on the EC that was the single best change I made last year, and Id really like to get my hands on one for the 808 before winter. I have had one on order for months now, but still no word.

I was planning to go with stiffer springs. Maybe even the blues rather than the Blue-Grey and heavier shock oils. I was also thinking about trying 5-5-5 in the difs to make it easier to kick the rear end around on throttle in the corners. With the lower rear dif weight it makes it really tough to rotate. It just wants to push for me on power.
