Titan or stainless screws for 808

Is there any kit with all the screws on the XB808 in titan or stainless ?

Me too,have the same problem,i can't understand why,maybe bad quality about the screws,they get all rusty,not only the screws,all the aluminium parts that are exposed,get all rusty,it's quite weird and sad!
I'm always sanding mine's,but after 1 day,they are all rusty,it's so stupid!

Aluminium does not rust.

mugen has titanium screw just take the right size....

I found a kit of stainless screws for the 808 now here in sweden.
i will try them out.

I have tried Stainless screws in my previous cars and have found that they strip far to easily.

I have decided to stick with the standard screws on my 808, as they perfectly adiquit for the job.

But they do serve me very well in one other important aspect, the levels of rust indicate the lack of maintenance carried out.

Therefore: Good Overall Car Maintenance = Very Little or No Rust.

Well I noticed something wierd after reading this thread and looking at my bugies. I have two 808s. One is brushless converted and the other is running a conventional nitro setup. I pretty much have only run the electric one this summer and I see no rust on the screws at all. The nitro has hardly been touched and has spent most of the summer put away in the RC closet or in the pit bag at the track.

Well the one that has gotten alot of use has no detectable rust on the screws, but the one that hasnt seen much action is showing rust on the screws, and its actually a month newer than the other.

Not sure if there is anything to it, but the lack of use seems to take its toll as far as rust on the screws. So you guys with the rusty screws need to get your buggies out of the closet more. lol :lol:
