XB808 Brake pads

Hi

I have an unusual problem with the rear brake on my 808. The metal pads that hold the disc when you brake, seem to bend for some reason. I have tried it with a few sets and it ends up the same. They bow out towards the rear of the car. The brakes are not dragging. I tried it with the kit brakes and then craddock brakes with the metal plates only. They all end up bending. Can you help?

You can buy the option steel brake pad that`s hardened, don`t think you will have that problem with those

Buy the hardened steel brake pads and then double up the outside pads with the old pads. Problem solved and you will have a much smoother brake action. Even the hardened ones will bend if you use a strong servo and a phenolic brake disc (they are thicker but much more consistent)
