XRAY - Model racing cars

I was just wondering why Xray advertised about their technical support at Euros. Free parts for everyone, when you bring a broken part, you get a new one for free. Now 2 months after the race, I got a bill from the distributor, for all parts I broke, and got at the Euros, at full price! It was fun to represent Xray at the Euros, but its not so fun anymore, after receiving the bill, specially since the parts I got are already broken.

The parts that I got at the race, (for free, no mention of price, I didnt give my details, I just got them in return for the broken parts) now cost me 166e:

clutchbell
toein plate
gearbox
diff pinion
caster block
brakedisks

How come????

Also, would it be possible to fix the gearbox/bearing problem so that the diff pinions and diffs would last longer? Specially since the parts arent even available to buy anywhere!

And what about the shocks. Will they have boots in the future? As these are offroad cars, dirt does get into the shocks really quickly without the boots.
