Just curious if there will be a new version for '09. I'm looking to get one but being that it will probably be a christmas present or something close to that date, I don't want to get an outdated car. I know any XRay is not too outdated, but I'd rather have the latest release.

If there is a new chassis on the way, I'm hoping there is more adjustability for motor position when using very low brushless final drive ratios. I had a bit of trouble getting a 46/100 pinion/spur to work in my 007. The spur gear motor mount screw hole was just a couple of millimeters from the gear teeth.

Usually we're hearing about it now and the team drivers have it for the IIC. That happens to be earlier this year though. The kit doesn't seem to hit the market till Xmas or later.

I'm almost certain the new car will allow for brushless & lipo. At least brushless or why bother?

I think that they will wait more for a new release!
I presume the new lightweight parts will be avaliable and the new kit can be named T2'008 EVO with the lightweight parts and some reviews.
I just bought my 008 so..... I prayer to no new car at least until august, 2009.
