XRAY - Model racing cars

Just wondering, according to the instructions the linkage and server arm should form a 90 degree angle.

I have the linkage as short as I can make it and there is no way it will form a 90 angle, not even close.

I can't even see how it's possible, the output shaft of the servo would have to be right next to the mounting post.

Am I missing something??

Would some mind posting a picture of their set up?

BTW I'm using a Spektrum DX with the stock high torque #Z590

This is what my servo link looks like without the turnbuckle.

Use shorter ballcup or cut the long one to desired measurement and move 1-click to the right of the servo horn (with servo in neutral position). You should be able to make 90 deg angle.
Later, check your steering EPA (left and right) to make balanced throw.

This is something I have never dwelt on. What is the advantage of being at 90 deg as against not? Is it servo dependent?
