you say first engine? as in you never ran nitro before? if that is correct then get a cheap engine for learning purposes. very easy to were out one of these very fast if you dont use it "by the book" like running it at the wrong temp for example. get a cheap engine.besides many time being underpowered is not a bad thing.

I have found my OS to be the easiest to tune (and keep it) and deliver a ton of power. I've owned 5 different motor manufactures. RB would be 2nd, but are more tune sensitive...

You can get a V-Spec for $225.00 (plus shipping). Nothing out there will out perform a V-Spec at that price... 8)
