I followed everyone's build procedure, but forgot to do the setup sheet procedure and look what came out of the box: :shock:

808 podium in US... this weekend! Odonnell Championship 08 Held at Revelation Raceway in California

Well we had our big Odonnell two day race out here in CA... and man it was brutal! Hot, humid and packed with fast US racers, this race was quite a battle. I hoped to be one of the only "no-name" racers to even make the A-main, but I ended up bringing home a trophy and exceeding my expectations after only having this buggy for about 5-6 races!!!

Thanks to my pit guys....!

I qualified in 6th and in the main, I held 2nd place all the way until two
minutes left in the 40 minute A-main. So with two to go my glow plug goes south, and my tires became extremely difficult to drive on (see pic..). But hey, I'll gladly take 3rd and.... recommend this new XB808 buggy to anyone who reads this! I used to drive a Losi, but this buggy is just plain better in every way for me. My buggy felt so dialed! Wow, I actually had tons of fun this weekend,.. and I didn't have to work on the buggy at all! I think I did about 35 minutes worth of work on the buggy this whole weekend. Motor/tire issues may have stolen my second place finish, but man this buggy felt dialed.

Wow, good job dude! There is always good competition at Rev, and Dana runs a GREAT show! I missing driving onroad there though... ;-)

Hi all,
I to have had bearing probs with Bob, i could be wrong but seems to me that it is due to a poor bearing fit in the bulk head, so hears a little mod ive come up with, you can use 2 or 3 1.5mm grub screws,drill into the bulkhead from the out side where the bearing seats 2 screws 180 deg apart, 3 screws 90 deg apart, gently screw the grub screws in to contact the outside of the bearing, not to tight or the bearing will bind, this will hold the bearing in place with no detrementle efects to the bulkhead.
This has stopped my bearings from spinning in there housings, not the be all end all but will do untill Xray come up with a solution, if there going to.
In my opinion the bearings are the cars only downfall, but other than this the car is awsome.
