Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that just an old PL body that's too wide for the 808? If you look at the front in the second picture you can see the detail on the front that rises up to go through the old shock tower.

Yes that is an the Mugen Pro-Line Crowd Pleazer. Yes it is about a 1/4 inch wider than the mud guards and yes the air filter is a little snug. But if you guys are complaining about that when or if you can't find a 808 body right now then I think you are being a little picky. I was just giving an alternative to the 808 if you could not find one.

There is nothing wrong with the 808 body as I think the body actually looks good. If you notice though on the rear body mount hole it is oblong and this is for a reason. When the Chasis flexes it will help prevent the body from cracking so you should cut it out as it shows. I also coat the bottom side of my body with shoe goo or automotive goop ( Wal-Mart) to help prevent cracks and it makes the bodies last quite a bit longer.

I just cover the entire inside and yes it does add some weight but not enough to worry about.

Not much room in the JC body for a air filter,,looks pretty crammed.
