Dunno...I would really like to fix the problem since it seems more like an issue with $2 in o-rings rather than the entire car.

you arent over filling the diffs are you.....makin it force out the oil???

Nope. Just to make sure, on the 2nd or 3rd time through, I tried filling the diffs even less; the results were the same with empty diffs the next time I came home from school.

so your sayin the oil is leakin out just sitting there???

are you using the small o-rings on the spyders??

Yea it pretty much drains just sitting there...unless someone is sneaking into my house while I'm away and driving my car.

I'm also not using the small o-rings on the spider gears on the basis that no one in the U.S. seems to have had any luck with that set up.

First can you see where it is leaking from" outdrives or under the Diff case". second are you using the supplied gasket and is it installed correctly?

I'm pretty sure its built correctly since its just like every other 1/8 diff I've built on the market today. I'm no noob to this 1/8 scene; I've been running a pair of 7.5's for the past 2 1/2 seasons and neither of them have ever dumped oil like this in that entire time (even the most used one with 14 gallons through the chassis).

On all of my Kyoshos as a precautionary measure, I always used a light coat of blue rtv sealant on both sides of the paper gaskets along with a light coat on the threads of the screws that hold the diff together. I originally did not do this on the XB8's diffs. After the first leak, I did go back and started sealing all of the diffs in the same way. At this point, the only place there is visibly oil is around the two o-rings that created the seal around the outdrives. When I remove the diffs from the cases, you can see a light film of diff fluid sitting where the outer edge of the bearings used to be.
