Here is some pics using fuel tube.
I used a dremel with various increasing in size grinders to get a hole with a square shoulder at the bottom(wish i had the proper drill bit for the job). You could go deeper but im just trying 2.5mm with this set. Remember the fuel tube diameter gets bigger when it's on the shaft so when grinding keep trying the shaft complete with the piece of tube in the hole. Once its snug make the hole slightly bigger so it can be greased and if the grease dries up or disappears theres no binding from the rubber.



use a good soft fuel tube it will stand the punnishment better.



Seat it with your flavour of grease



Add your shims as normal and you should not be able to see it.
