at the nats mine was 3240 BOX STOCK! but if their scale was as good as their fuel cylinder then it probably wieght around 3340 the scale read 3240 though with proline tires and inserts and no fuel

Daz - These will definitely be 'race' pieces. I won't be club racing with these axles! But then again, the aluminum XRAY uses is top notch and their coating rocks, sooooo we will have to see.

Ray - Ralph and I were talking about this, (like you have) I want to replace all of the M4 screws with the same size but in titanium, get some titanium hinge pins and turnbuckles. The turnbuckles might not be that great in strength versus the steel ones, but that along with the axles, would make a dramatic change in sprung weight, which will make the car handle A LOT better. I especially want the titanium screws that hold the caster-hub and steering block in place. I think that was 20g right there when I compare the densities of steel and titanium. Yeah... I'm a nerd...

titanium screw will save you 30 gr.
carbon mudd side fenders will save you 16 gr.
avid brakes will save you 6 gr.
titanium screws ont the shoks will not work
the battery box can be changed and that will save 10 gr.
the axles 357213 can not be changed to titanium they will bent ( tested it already) but would save 8 gr each
