XRAY - Model racing cars

After talking with Wheeler yesterday, he has been running the same 808 setup since they tested at The Farm, so his has been posted for a couple months now, haha.

Good job guys, I wish I was there...

I felt stupid walking around with Roccos picture waiting for him to sign it. You should have seen the looks I was getting with my twin pig tails and tight emo pants holding a RC America titled pic with Rocco on the front.

Where were you?

Hahaha, at home being broke, lol!

LOL, maybe I was the reason he didnt come out.

I met Wheeler and he was very cool and a down to earth kind of guy. Not your typical RC bum that we often get at the club races.

I didnt get to meet Branham but I saw a few guys with RC America shirts so I am sure he was one of them.

You guys can ask the RC America people to confirm but I walked around with a 3'x4' pic of this on presentation board.

Man what a week. Our cars really worked well on every version of the track we saw in each round. The competition was unbeliveable, for Example in the last round qualifying positions 10-18 were seperated by 2 seconds. I came real close to reaching the bump spot to the main by catching Saxton and King with about 3 mins left to go in the Semi but some last minute crashes ended all hopes... but oh well thats racing.

Josh was super fast all weekend only completing 2 of his 4 qualifying rounds and still putting himself 6th in the main. If it had not been for a early flame out he surely would have placed farther up in the main, so great job Josh.

I really think we turned some heads with the 808's flying around the track so that was really cool to see.

Whitey, Sorry I did'nt get to meet you but if thats the facility you race at then you have it really nice. The track was awesome and Rob Jackson and the Thunder Alley crew did a great job all week so you gotta give it up to thoes guys for sure.

And to any of you guys cheering us on on Live RC, thanks. We had a blast and I can't wait to do it again.

Now we just have to get Rob to like Xray, lol.

While I was there I asked what was a matter with the track that allowed the 808 to be doing so well. He just said, "yeah so". LOL

It is fun to razz them a bit with my Euro gear vs them Kyosho lovers.

Yea while I was there he was asking me how I was liking the car.

I wanted to drop in and say, thanks to Josh for the advise on the buggy. Good job on making the A-main! Also, Rob Jackson and crew for doing a great job with the whole facility. I did feel a bit outclassed by the world class drivers on the stand with me, but I had fun just being a part of this race. UndergroundRC is hard at work editing video and pictures from last weeks event, so we will post them soon. Check back often in our forum and news section, in fact the Pro A-main video should post tonight.

Here are a couple pics I took of the Wheelemiester and buggy. I see blue-grey springs and Bowties on his ride. That seemed to be the ticket for a tire choice.
