Crimewave I think your right. I have had other types of race vehicles in the past where I have changed or upgraded something (supposedly)and all of a sudden something else becomes a problem that never was before. It would make no sense to me for XRAY to change the plastic blend based on the fact that it was fine before so my opinion is it was just a fluke or its the cf tower. as soon as alum. is available Im there!

Here is some pictures of the concept I was describing above. The Xray product would possibly surround the entire diff bulkhead material that the shock tower bolts into. This would reinforce the diff bulkhead and give the shock tower something more solid to push back on.
